One Mind is a leading mental health non-profit that heals lives through brain research, working from science to services to society. By bringing together the best minds in brain science and advocacy around our collective vision of “Accelerating Brain Health for All”, One Mind is advancing a three-pronged program strategy of accelerating discoveries, scaling implementation and transforming societal culture. Over the past 25 years, One Mind has transformed how we treat illnesses like bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, depression, post-traumatic stress, and other serious mental illnesses. One Mind’s emphasis on research is infused in their patient-centered services, as well as their educational and media focused initiatives that aim to dismantle mental health stigma and discrimination. Through their ASPIRe initiative, One Mind has the ambitious goals of:
- 100% access to gold standard mental healthcare for every child and young adult.
- A 75% recovery rate for kids who are experiencing serious mental illnesses.
Together, we are creating a world where all individuals facing brain health challenges can build healthy, productive lives. www.onemind.org
Jewel's Inspiring Children Foundation for 20 years has been empowering children struggling with financial hardship, anxiety, depression and suicidal ideation by giving them the ultimate environment to survive, then thrive at the highest levels. With teenage suicide up 60% and rates of anxiety and depression doubling (now even worse due to COVID), they have been at the forefront of helping to solve this epidemic. The program arms at-risk youth with everything they need to be physically, emotionally and mentally healthy in a fun and inspirational way, both online and in person. Their young leaders have been so academically, athletically and personally developed that 95% have been offered scholarships and admissions into the best colleges in the world including: Stanford, The Air-Force Academy, Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Georgetown, and many more. Most importantly, these children are being armed with a “psychology for life” that helps them generate their own motivation, peace of mind and contentment as self-actualized leaders.
